There's no bad time — just different experiences. Summer (December to February) brings long sunny days perfect for hiking and beaches. Autumn (March to May) has stunning colours and fewer crowds. Winter (June to August) is ski season and the landscapes under snow are spectacular. Spring (September to November) bursts with wildflowers and baby lambs. We'll help you pick the season that matches what you want to see.

It depends on the tour. We offer everything from gentle scenic drives with short walks to multi-day hiking adventures. Every tour page lists the activity level clearly, and we'll talk through your comfort zone before you book. If you can walk a few kilometres on uneven ground, most of our trips are within reach.

All accommodation, transport within New Zealand, most meals, guided activities, and national park fees are included. Flights to and from New Zealand, travel insurance, and a few special-occasion dinners are the main things not covered. Each tour page has a detailed inclusions list so there are no surprises.

Absolutely. Every tour on our site is a starting point. We regularly adjust itineraries for couples, families, and groups with specific interests — whether that's wine, photography, Maori culture, or adrenaline sports. Just tell us what you're dreaming of.

For peak summer season (December to February), we recommend booking 6 to 9 months ahead — the best lodges and guides fill up fast. For shoulder seasons, 3 to 6 months is usually fine. Last-minute trips are sometimes possible; just get in touch and we'll see what we can do.
